Monte Verde Farms is a 20-acre family farm and vineyard focused on organic farming and regenerative viticulture in the rolling hills of the Temecula Wine Country.
Discover the unique flavors, skin characteristics, and profile of each variety we grow.

This 20-acre organic vineyard and farm in the heart of the Temecula Valley is built on a philosophy of regenerative viticulture, where premium grape-growing works in harmony with the local ecosystem.
Situated just 22 miles from the Pacific Ocean at roughly 1,500 feet elevation, the valley enjoys a classic Mediterranean climate. Warm, sun-drenched days encourage optimal sugar development.
A break in the coastal mountain range acts as a natural funnel, pulling cool ocean breezes and marine layer through the gap each afternoon.
The result is a diurnal shift of 40–50 degrees, letting the vines rest at night and preserve natural acidity for complex, balanced flavor.
The vineyard is rooted in fast-draining sandy loam and decomposed granite soils. Because this ancient granitic soil drains so well, the vines are naturally stressed and send roots deep in search of water and nutrients.
That stress limits excessive foliage and directs the vine's energy into smaller, highly concentrated, deeply flavored fruit.
Growing organically here means focusing heavily on soil health and biodiversity — moving beyond basic sustainability to actively restore the land.
Through these practices, the vineyard doesn't just pull from the renowned Temecula terroir — it actively enriches it, keeping the land vibrant and productive for generations.
